Why are you any different from everyone else? Potential customers ask us this question frequently. At this point, we should be talking about ourselves being the most excellent company, and no one else comes close. Let’s be honest. There are some great companies out there. There are also some not-great companies or sole trader exterior cleaners. We know because we’ve seen them and heard about them.
What we will do our best in the post to explain is why we do our best to try and be the best. Our internal motto is “We will always do everything in our power to complete each job to the best of our ability and to leave all jobs with the best results possible”.
Roof Cleaning: Other than our extensive commercial window or building cleaning. Roof cleaning is a service that costs the customer the most out of all of our services. We appreciate a client’s investment and understand it can be a big decision.
Roof Cleaning has been around for some time but has become much more popular in the last two to three years. We have been roof cleaning just over this time. We invest heavily in all the correct equipment and train our guys in all the suitable methods needed. We teach our guys at the city and guilds level in soft washing. They hold PASMA Licenses for the correct use and erection of mobile scaffold towers. We also train our employees on IPAF to safely use cherry pickers. Our company is safe contractor approved, and we hold all the correct insurances that cover the public, our employees and the property we are working on. Our employees are employed directly by us as PAYE staff, and we never use subcontractors.
We have cleaned over 1000 roofs and have good experience in the field. We have had some minor issues, but 98% of all roof cleans have been done without problems. When we have had minor issues, we have rectified them without any problems. We have always been very swift and forthcoming with all genuine matters we may have had. We have had the old tile slip, and we’ve had a handful of roofs where we have not been happy with the progress of the biocide, so we have returned and re-applied free of charge. Once, moss fell onto a neighbouring property from our customer’s roofs on their conservatory roof. So we sent a team around the next day to clean the whole conservatory roof free of charge. Even though we didn’t have to do that, we wanted to go above and beyond to ensure the customer and their neighbours were happy. Unfortunately, we have had two cases of being accused of causing massive damage to a roof. Both times it was deemed impossible for us to of caused it. Our insurance company investigated the issues, and the conclusion was that a storm created a problem with one of the roofs, and the other customer had broken tiles before we cleaned and replaced them at our expense.
Out of 1000 roofs, it would be great to have not had two significant problems, but it still needs to be an alarming percentage considering how many we’ve cleaned.
Only a few companies out there also guarantee no moss returning in four years. We’ve been guaranteeing roofs for nearly four years and have yet to have one case where we have returned to a roof where moss is regrowing. Again if this were to be the case, we would come out at 100% of our cost and re-apply the biocide treatment.
One of the main reasons we are different from many other companies is our size. We are approaching 20 staff members with various teams of roof cleaners. What this means is we can get to your property fast. If you want to proceed with your roof cleaning, we can always move our schedules to suit you. We can get to you within a month if you want to wait. If you want it done sooner, we can be with you, in most cases, within 48 hours. Many roof cleaners are one-person sole traders or smaller companies of a few staff members, which can sometimes mean longer waiting times. Getting the job done on-site could take longer, and if, for any reason, there is an issue, the resolution would take longer. The other problem is that smaller companies always come and go. We have been an external cleaning company since 2006 and intend on being around for a long time. We are always on the end of a phone and reply to our emails within the next working day.
Window Cleaning: Our company is different to many others out there. We only know a handful of UK companies with more than 10 Window Cleaning Vans operational on the roads daily. Locally we don’t believe any other company has as many vans window cleaning daily. Our advantage over individual window cleaners who run their own business is the level of support we can offer. Our window cleaning schedules are like clockwork, and we are always on time. If we can’t be with you on the day due to staff illness or a problem with a van, we will be with you the next day – We are very efficient. We are also contactable by phone or email through office hours Monday – Friday. We also send you an automated text the night before we clean your windows so you can leave access areas unlocked and you know we are calling. Our long-standing customers often feed back to us the advantages. We can also see them with our Google reviews which we have over 200. An average rating of 4.8 is good, considering we clean over 3500 customers monthly. We get the job done to the best of our ability, and if, for any reason, any customer is unhappy, we will be out to you again within 24 hours to rectify any issues. Thankfully this is a rare scenario.
